Ma'Ez

Hello guys!

This is my most recent commissioned work and represents a magical character from a Dungeons and Dragons private campaign scenario.

This is the briefing that I received from the custome, it contains information about the the religious background and visual of the character:

"...About Archons - Religious background

Archons are divine beings that often personify some of the aspects of the world. They are credited for the creation of the universe, and everything in it. There are eight of them, or at least there were, as one of them is considered dead.

About Ma’Ez - Character description

Ma’Ez is often portrayed as a pale, barefoot girl with long auburn hair, wearing a long, white dress with scarlet waist and armbands. The whole appearance is supposed to be iconic, with a limited palette of gentle white/creamy colors, and strong red accents. That dress should almost be like some ceremonial robe.

There should be something mysterious, and dreamlike about her. She is considered to be very powerful, highly apt in magic, able to travel to other worlds, other planes.

There is a lot of stigma attached to the worship of Ma’Ez as she is blamed for the vanquishing of the eldest Archon - Ga’Ul. This was a cause for many to portray her as outright evil. But since nobody has seen her in centuries, we don’t know her side of the story...."
